Meet the Optometrists

Dr. Carrarini, a native of Latrobe, completed his undergraduate studies at Washington and Jefferson College earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He received his Doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He completed his training with clinical honors at Philadelphia’s Eye Institute and the VA Medical Center of Wilmington, Deleware. In addition to providing primary eye care, Dr. Carrarini also specializes in the treatment and management of ocular diseases including Dry Eye, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and Diabetic eye disease. Dr. Carrarini enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two children.

Dr. Miller joined Latrobe Vision Center in March 2019 along with her husband, Dr. Michael Macey.

She was practicing optometry at Sears Optical, Greensburg for 20 years as well as a part-time doctor with a private practice.

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.  She received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.  She completed her clinical training at The Eye Institute of Philadelphia and Baltimore’s Omni Eye Services.

In addition to providing primary eye care, Dr. Miller specializes in the treatment and management of eye diseases including Dry Eye, Diabetic eye disease, and Macular Degeneration.  She enjoys serving the geriatric population as well as introducing and fitting young patients successfully into contact lenses.

She enjoys hiking, exercise, and gardening with her family.

Dr. Macey has served our community as an optometrist for the past 20 years at Sears Optical, Greensburg.  He joined our practice in March 2019 along with his wife, Dr. Jill Miller.

Dr. Macey graduated from the University of Pittsburgh earning his Bachelor’s degree in Biology.  He received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.  He completed his clinical training at Omni Eye Services in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Macey specializes in managing diabetic eye disease; the diagnosis of Diabetic Retinopathy.   He enjoys having the opportunity to help patients understand how their general health relates to good visual health.

Dr. Macey enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Dr. Miller, and their two children.
